Microsoft Alert: Service degradation – Users may be experiencing issues within Microsoft Teams chats

Issue Status: Resolved

Issue Description: Some users may be experiencing issues within Microsoft Teams chats.

Users may be unable to:

-Create group or private chats.
-Remove or add users to chats.
-Start calls from existing chats.
-Search for external users in the search bar.

Impact is specific to users who are served through the affected infrastructure the North America.

Current Update – 15/02/2021 01:00:00 PM: Microsoft has reverted the deployment and after monitoring the environment, confirmed that this resolved the issue. Service has been restored to normal.
