Issue Description: Users can’t install the Legal Agent for Word in Microsoft 365 Copilot on devices using SCA.

More info: This only impacts users enrolled in the Microsoft 365 Copilot Frontier Preview attempting to install the Legal Agent for Word in Microsoft 365 Copilot on devices using SCA.

While their permanent fix deploys, affected organizations can raise a support ticket with us to have an identified workaround applied.

Current Update: 19/07/2026 08:44:00 AM – Microsoft has determined that a component utilised in the completion of this function is missing, resulting in impact. They have developed a fix, which they anticipate will complete its deployment by September 2026. They will continue to monitor the deployment of this fix and provide a more precise remediation timeline as soon as one becomes available.
