Issue Description: Users’ filters in Excel PivotTables connected to Microsoft Fabric Semantic Models may reset after a refresh.

More Info: After refreshing a Microsoft Fabric Semantic Model and the associated Excel PivotTable, previously selected filter values may be cleared and reset to default selections. No data loss has been identified; the impact is limited to retained filter selections within affected PivotTables.

Current Update: 21/07/2026 08:44:00 AM – Microsoft is continuing to validate the reported impact with affected users while reviewing additional information to refine the scope of impact. They are also validating a potential resolution and determining the appropriate next steps.

Scope of impact: Any user with Excel PivotTables connected to Microsoft Fabric Semantic Models may be affected by this issue.
