Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users were unable to access the Power BI Data Agent or Microsoft Fabric Environment extensions.

More info: Additionally, affected users experienced blank screens, page load failures, or 4XX errors when attempting to access Fabric extensions, including Data Agent, Environment, Pipeline experiences, and associated artifacts.

Final Update: 31/08/2026 11:12:00 AM – Microsoft has validated through internal testing and monitoring that the aforementioned change successfully remediated impact.

Scope of impact: Some users attempting to access the Power BI Data Agent or Microsoft Fabric Environment extensions were affected.

Root cause: A recent service deployment introduced compatibility issues and delivery inconsistencies with required application assets, resulting in resource loading failures for affected users. This condition caused blank screens, page load failures, and 4XX errors when accessing affected Fabric extension experiences.

Next steps: Microsoft is reviewing their update procedures to better identify similar issues during our development and testing cycles.
