Issue Description: Users may be unable to setup MFA or access the mysignins.microsoft.com website.

More info: Users may encounter 504 Gateway Timeout errors when trying to access mysignins.microsoft.com

Current Update: 01/06/2026 12:02:00 PM – Microsoft has completed mitigation actions, including failing over to alternate infrastructure, and are continuing to monitor service health. As elevated error rates persist, they are actively evaluating additional mitigation options, including optimizing how service requests are processed to further stabilize the service.

Scope of impact: Some users attempting to setup MFA or accessing the mysignins.microsoft.com website may be impacted.
