Issue Description: Users may have been unable to open Semantic Models in Microsoft Fabric.

More info: Affected users may be unable to launch the Microsoft Teams desktop client due to failures during character encoding conversion.

Fina Update: 19/05/2026 08:37:00 AM–Microsoft has determined that a recent configuration update inadvertently conflicted with existing settings and resulted in impact. After reverting the update, they have confirmed that impact has been remediated after carefully monitoring the environment.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to users in the United Kingdom region attempting to open Semantic Models in Microsoft Fabric.

Root cause: A recent configuration update inadvertently conflicted with existing settings and resulted in impact.
