Issue Status: ONGOING
Issue Description: Users are unable to release or preview ZAP email messages from quarantine in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

Users receive an error message incorrectly stating that “The message has been deleted”. Users can attempt to retry to release the email messages and it may succeed.
Current Update: 07/04/2026 09:07:00 AM–Microsoft has confirmed that the rollback of the fix conducted on the portion of the affected environment is now complete. They are still monitoring the deployment of the fix to address newer email messages quarantined by ZAP. The saturation of the fix is currently at 85 percent, which they will continue to monitor to ensure full-service restoration.
