Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may be unable to create Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365) agents.

More info: As a workaround, affected users can make any edit to the agent they’re attempting to create before publishing. Once the agent is edited, it can be published as expected.

Final Update: 01/10/2025 08:00:00 AM – The process of reverting the offending change is complete and Microsoft have confirmed that service availability has returned to normal health.

Scope of impact: Users attempting to update Copilot agents may be impacted.

Root cause: A recent code change intended to resolve a separate issue introduced an error which is resulting in the impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their validation and updating procedures to better detect and prevent issues like this prior to deployment in the future.
