Information – Upcoming Change to Entra ID P2 Licence Assignment

Some Organisations have been identified as using the Entra ID P2 licence in one or more of your User Policies.

What does this mean?

As an Enhanced Organisation, this licence is not required to be added on to the User Policy as it comes as part of the M365 E3 and F5 Security & Compliance licenses.

Please note the F5 Security & Compliance licence does not show in the Portal.

A change is scheduled week commencing 2 June 2025, to remove the additional top-up licence from any User Policies consuming it.

All users in your organisation are already assigned the Entra ID P2 licence therefore there is no identified risk as they are they are dual licensed.
