Issue Description: Users may be unable to load some shared channel messages in Microsoft Teams.

More info: Users may see the following error: “We’re having trouble loading your messages. Try refreshing.”

Current Update: 20/05/2025 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft have scheduled their fix for deployment, and their current deployment timeline expects that it’ll finish and remediate the impact by their next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact any user attempting to load some shared channel messages in Microsoft Teams.

Root cause: A recent update introduced a code regression which prevents valid user info from being retrieved, causing the shared channel pane to crash and resulting in impact.
