Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users’ subscription email messages for reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI were delayed or weren’t delivered.

More info: Impact was intermittent for some users. While we worked on fixing the issue, users could’ve leveraged the “send now” button to deliver the subscription email messages

Final Update: 13/01/2026 09:10:00 AM : Microsoft have completed reverting the offending update, and after a period of monitoring, we confirmed impact was remediated.

Scope of impact: Your organisation was affected by this event, and any user configured to receive email messages reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI was impacted.

Root Cause: A recent service update designed to change how tasks deliver subscription email messages for reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI were processed, was preventing the tasks from being completed efficiently and causing impact.

Next steps: To help prevent similar impact in the future, they are further reviewing our update release procedures to identify delivery and processing issues before being deployed.
