Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Some users may have seen incorrect presence status information in Microsoft Teams.

Current Update: 18/06/2026 09:32:00 AM –Microsoft has confirmed through their telemetry and from some of the previously affected customers that the issue is now resolved.

Scope of impact: This issue primarily affected users in EMEA, and users in other regions may have experienced impact when interacting with the affected users.

Next Steps: Microsoft are continuing to analyse the underlying configuration issue and reviewing their change management, testing, and validation procedures to reduce the likelihood of similar issues occurring during future updates.

They will provide a preliminary post-incident report in two business days, and a full post-incident report in five business days.
