Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may be unable to send subscription emails to external users in Power BI.

Final Update: 21/04/2026 08:53:00 AM–Microsoft’s fix has completed its deployment, and they were able to confirm that the event has been resolved through service health telemetry.

Scope of impact: Impact may occur for all users attempting to send subscription emails to external users in Power BI.

Root cause: An influx of automated email traffic from Power BI subscriptions resulted in impact to external subscription email delivery.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing the influx of automated email traffic to better understand what led to the error that resulted in impact and prevent similar future occurrences
