Issue Description: Users are unable to create new Task Chats in Microsoft Planner in Microsoft Teams.

More info: Existing Task Chats are unaffected.

While we’re focused on remediation, users will be able to create new Task Chats through Planner on the web.

Current Update: 06/05/2026 09:22:00 AM The deployment of Microsoft’s fix has propagated throughout the affected service environment and after an extended period of monitoring the service health telemetry, they have confirmed that this issue has been resolved.

Root cause: A code issue with a recent service update that is specifically impacting Task Chats in Planner in Teams.
