Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users with Snapdragon-based Copilot+ PCs with Super Resolution enabled can’t access Microsoft Teams.

More info: Users can still access the Microsoft Teams web app to work around this issue.

Final Update: 10/09/2026 10:11:00 AM Microsoft’s review of service health telemetry confirmed that downloading the Microsoft Teams package with the newer Super Resolution component resolved the issue, they have determined that users can download the latest Windows monthly update to remediate the impact. Either of these mitigation options can be utilized to restore full service functionality.

Scope of impact: Your organisation is affected by this event, and any users attempting to access the Microsoft Teams desktop client from a Snapdragon-based Copilot+ PC with Super Resolution enabled is impacted.

Root cause: A recent change to the Windows graphics path attempts to utilize an older Super Resolution component that is rejected by our code integrity policy, resulting in impact.

Next Steps: Microsoft are reviewing the offending change to understand why the service access issue wasn’t identified within their pre-deployment testing processes, so that they can prevent similar instances of impact from occurring in the future.
