Issue Description: Some users may have experienced issues with multiple features in Microsoft Teams.

More info: The following confirmed impact scenarios were:

– Facilitator not being added to Microsoft Teams meetings
– Failures when trying to initiate a Teams group chat with Copilot
– Failures when adding or removing Teams apps that utilize resource specific consent permissions

Final Update: 21/04/2026 9:00:00 AM– Microsoft has confirmed that our configuration change to improve performance across the affected service infrastructure has remediated impact.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users in United Kingdom, attempting to utilize multiple features in Microsoft Teams.

Root cause: A network connectivity issue caused generalized slowness across multiple scenarios, with increased impact to real‑time experiences.

Next steps: Microsoft are analyzing the offending service infrastructure to isolate why it began to operate in an unhealthy state and what further performance changes we can implement to ensure similar impact scenarios don’t occur in the future
