Issue Description: Some users without a Premium license may not have the option to use eCDN for town hall meetings in Microsoft Teams.

Final Update: 13/05/2025 08:30:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that their fix has fully deployed and remediated the issue.

Scope of impact: Some users without a Premium license may not have the option to use eCDN for town hall meetings in Microsoft Teams.

Root cause: A service update introduced a settings misconfiguration for town hall meetings, which is resulting in impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their service update processes so they can better identify similar settings misconfigurations during our testing and development phases and avoid comparable impact to town hall meetings in the future.
