Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Some users may have been unable to access the Microsoft Teams Shifts Application.

More info: Affected users may have observed 503 errors when attempting to access the Microsoft Teams Shifts Application.

Current Update: 07/05/2025 09:15:00 AM – Microsoft’s efforts to resolve the issue by rerouting user traffic to alternate infrastructure were unsuccessful. However, they validated and deployed a fix to revert to the previous service build version, and confirmed following a monitoring period that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users who were located or served through the affected infrastructure in the UK and Europe.

Root cause: A change introduced as part of a recent service update inadvertently caused impact.

Next update by: Microsoft are conducting analysis of diagnostic data to isolate the precise impacting change within the recent service update, to reduce or avoid similar impact in the future.
