Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Microsoft Teams Android Pixel device users on Android OS 16 may not receive notifications as expected.

More info: – If users have no outstanding Microsoft Teams notifications they may receive notifications as expected.
– If they do have notifications they can answer calls from the notification drawer of the device.

Final Update: 09/07/2025 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft have enabled Microsoft Teams client version 1416/1.0.0.2025123000 and they’ve confirmed with affected users that impact is remediated.

Scope of impact: Any Microsoft Teams Android Pixel device user on Android OS 16 may be impacted.

Root cause: A third-party provider update is leading to impact.

Next steps: Microsoft will continue working along side their third-party partner providers to prevent service conflicts from causing future impact.
