Issue Description: Users may have experienced multiple issues when trying to access or use features within the Microsoft Defender portal

More info: Impacted functionalities included, but were not limited to:
– Advanced Threat Hunting Alerts not appearing
– Devices not appearing

Final Update: 03/12/2025 08:41:00 AM – Microsoft have received confirmation from the additional organizations that the issue is resolved. Monitoring telemetry continued to show the service has remained stable for an extended period of time.

Scope of impact: This issue may have impacted users attempting to access or use features within the Microsoft Defender portal.

Next Steps: Microsoft are investigating the cause of the spike in traffic and developing actions to prevent this from reoccurring. They will provide a preliminary Post-Incident Report within two business days and a final Post-Incident Report within five business days.
