Issue Description: Users may be unable to open the OneDrive app on Samsung Android devices.
More info: This issue may be impacting any user trying to open the Microsoft OneDrive app from any Samsung Android device that has the Samsung account app linked with a Microsoft 365 account.
Users with affected devices that aren’t managed through Intune can immediately update those devices to the latest version of the Samsung account app to remediate this issue.
Final Update: 23/12/2025 08:32:00 AM – Microsoft has completed their review of system logs and determined that a recent Samsung service update introduced an incompatibility with the OneDrive app on Android devices. They recommend that users with affected devices that aren’t managed through Intune immediately update those devices to the latest version of the Samsung account app (15.5.03.0) to remediate this issue or otherwise gain support directly through Samsung for further remediation. The Microsoft-managed environment is functioning as expected and a service incident didn’t occur. This communication will expire in 24 hours.
