Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users can’t access Microsoft Planner plans that are converted from Basic to Premium.

More info: Affected users receive the following error when attempting to open an impacted plan: “This plan is being converted to premium. You can view it now and come back later to edit it.”

Affected users can bypass the impact from the Teams tab, by removing the read only basic Plan tab, then adding a new Planner tab. Users will then have the option to add the Premium plan that they converted to the new tab.

Final Update: 21/03/2025 08:22:00 AM Microsoft have completed the reversal of the offending change. After monitoring and testing in their test environment, their telemetry has verified that this action has successfully remediated the issue.

Root cause: A recent update to the logic pathways responsible for redirecting users to the selected plan introduced a code error that’s preventing the service from identifying the correct plan for redirection, leading to impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are continuing their review of the recent update to the logic pathways and how it prevented the plan redirection from completing as expected so they can prevent further instances of this issue in future updates.
