Issue Description: Users may be unable to search or see recommendations in multiple Microsoft 365 services.

More info: Impacted services include but aren”t limited to:
– Outlook on the web and desktop client
– Microsoft Teams
– OneDrive for Business
– SharePoint Online

Current Update: 21/03/2025 08:47:00 AM – Microsoft are addressing an issue that’s halted the deployment of the fix to the remaining affected infrastructure. They will aim to provide a timeline for the issue to be address and the deployment resumed by their next scheduled communications update.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause: Processing components responsible for regulating functionality related to search and suggestions in multiple Microsoft 365 services are operating below acceptable thresholds due to an unexpected increase in inbound request traffic.
