Issue Status: ONGOING
Issue Description: Users may not see updates synced to their calendar in Microsoft Teams.
More info: This issue may also prevent the affected users from utilizing the calendar within Microsoft Teams to create and manage scheduled meetings that are intended to be synced with the Outlook desktop client, Outlook on the web, and Exchange Online.
This impact is limited to users viewing the calendar in Microsoft Teams. Where possible, affected users can bypass the impact by accessing their calendar using the Outlook desktop client, or the Outlook web or mobile apps.
Additionally, a subset of users may be able to bypass impact by navigating to the options menu in the Microsoft Teams title bar and selecting the toggle to enable the New Calendar in environments where this feature is enabled. If the New Calendar option isn’t visible, the feature hasn’t been made available in your organization’s environment.
Current Update: 06/12/2024 08:25:00 AM – Microsoft have rolled out the fix to approximately 90% of the affected environment, and anticipate the deployment will complete by Monday, December 9, 2024.
Scope of impact: This issue impacts a small subset of users viewing their calendar in Microsoft Teams.
Root cause: Some components of infrastructure responsible for syncing calendar updates in Microsoft Teams are encountering an error that’s preventing these syncs from completing, resulting in impact.
