Mapani Release – Content Summary
The NHSmail Portal release is named in honour of Ngonidzaishe Adam Mapani, Lead Nurse Consultant at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, who was awarded a British Empire medal (BEM) for their services to Ophthalmology.

Portal Functionality – Product Backlog Items
- 40650: Add ‘Patient Experience’ To Work Area
As part of this PBI, a new value of ‘Patient Experience’ has been added to the Work Area dropdown within Portal.
- 44320: Add ‘Diabetes Nurse’ to Role list
As part of this PBI, a new value of ‘Diabetes Nurse’ has been added to the Role dropdown within Portal.
- 84869: Add Teams Premium (Intelligent Recap) license to the NHSmail Portal
This PBI will introduce Team Premium (Intelligent Recap) as a supported add-on license in Portal. The application settings will be turned on within the O365 tenant but have no toggles displayed within the Portal user interface.
- 84875: Remove Bulk Edit Functionality to Enable Azure MFA
As part of this PBI, the ‘Enable Azure MFA’ button is removed from the bulk edit page.
- 85972: Bulk CSV Upload Account Creation – Password Removal
This PBI will remove the password column from the CSV upload template. As part of the bulk csv upload user creation process, the password will be auto generated and supplied within the email output. Any legacy csv files containing the password column will fail and bulk operations will not be processed.
- 86011: Add New Microsoft Teams Audio Conferencing SKU
This license type will be available nationally and in replacement to the national Dial-in Conferencing add-on license. Both licenses cannot be selected at the same time within a user policy.
Existing user policies with the national Dial-In Conferencing will have this license replaced with the Microsoft Teams Audio Conferencing. For further details on this change, please refer to the NHSmail Support Site: Guidance-for-Teams-Dial-In
