Issue Description: Users may be unable to search files in SharePoint Online.

Final Update: 29/05/2025 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft’s rollback of the offending service change is progressing at a steady pace, and they anticipate the rollback to be completed by the time of their next scheduled update, which will allow us to validate if impact is resolved.

Scope of impact: Some users who are attempting to search files within SharePoint Online are impacted.

Root cause: A recent service change, designed to improve how guest users are identified, is causing impact.
