Issue Description: Users may observe delays with role permissions updates.

Final Update: 09/08/2024 08:05:00 AM – The hotfix deployment is complete

Root Cause: A configuration change as part of the mitigating actions performed during the incident communicated under PP821228.

Next Steps: Microsoft are reviewing their configuration procedures to find ways to prevent this problem from happening again.
