Issue Description: Users may be unable to view the “Refresh” popup when refreshing the tables/queries within PowerBI Desktop.

More info: Affected users when trying to refresh tables/queries the “Refresh” popup showing the number of rows loaded does not appear on refreshing the data.

Final Update: 21/06/2024 10:00:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed with affected users that the new release is available in the download center and successfully resolves the issue.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause: A recent standard service update to a section of infrastructure to improve User Interface (UI) is preventing users from viewing the “Refresh” popup when refreshing tables or queries.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their standard service update testing and validation procedures to identify how impact was missed, improve their pre-deployment testing processes, and better prevent similar future occurrences.
