Issue Description: Images and file previews in Viva Engage may not load for external networks.

More info: As a workaround users are unable to right click the image and download it.

Final Update: 29/08/2024 08:47:00 AM Following the development and deployment of Microsoft’s solution, they have confirmed that affected users are now seeing the expected user images and file previews in Viva Engage while on external networks, and that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to users hosted through the affected infrastructure, and any user may see that images and file previews in Viva Engage may not load for external networks.

Root cause: A recent service update that intended to improve security for the Viva Engage service had introduced an authentication token configuration issue, which prevented images and file previews in Viva Engage for users on external networks.

Next steps: Microsoft are further analyzing the offending security update to help us better isolate similar issues during our pre-deployment testing and validations processes.
