Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may not receive app protection policies applied for apps that rely on specific policies.

More info: The affected policies are existing policies targeting “All Apps” and some other app categories and newly created policies are unaffected.

Current Update: 10/09/2024 08:42:00 AM After an extended period of monitoring the service infrastructure, Microsoft have confirmed that the fix has deployed throughout the affected environment, remediating impact.

Scope of impact: This issue may prevent any user with apps that rely on the specific affected policies from having app protection policies applied.

Root cause: An automated service process to help improve the onboarding of newly included apps has experienced an impacting configuration issue.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their update vetting procedures to help ensure impact of this nature doesn’t reoccur with future updates.
