Issue Description: Some users can’t check in devices managed through Microsoft Intune.
Final Update: 22/08/2024 08:44:00 AM –The aforementioned fix has saturated throughout the affected infrastructure, and after an extended period of monitoring Microsoft have confirmed the impact has been remediated.
Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and some users can’t check in devices.
Root cause: A communications issue with a specific authentication component within a section of infrastructure that handles device check-ins through Microsoft Intune was resulting in impact.
Next steps: Microsoft are continuing to investigate the communications issue which affected device check-ins in order to ensure other issues like this are not further replicated.
