More info: Additionally, macOS devices may miss vulnerabilities assessments on newly installed apps and might have false-positive assessments on uninstalled apps.

Final Update: 27/09/2024 17:08:00 PM – The rollout of the aforementioned code fix is complete and Microsoft have confirmed through their service health telemetry that the impact is remediated.

Scope of impact : Impact is specific to some macOS devices that are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause: A recent update contains a code regression that’s resulting in impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their process for implementing service updates to identify opportunities to catch code regressions and prevent similar impact from occurring in the future.
