Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may have been unable to find conference rooms for meetings in their search results.

More info: Impact was specific but not limited to the following services:

– Outlook
– Microsoft Teams

This issue may have also impacted any third party app that also uses the Find Meeting Locations API.

Final Update: 13/11/2024 13:02:00 PM – Microsoft have successfully reverted the change and confirmed that the issue is resolved.

Scope of impact: Any user attempting to find a conference room via a service that utilizes the FindMeetingLocations API could’ve been impacted.

Root cause: A recent migration change to our scheduling service inadvertently caused impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their service update and migration procedures to help prevent this issue from happening again.
