Issue Description: Users attending town halls can’t view the video stream in the Microsoft Teams mobile app for iOS 18 devices.

Final Update: 27/09/2024 08:50:00 AM – Microsoft’s fix has completed the final stage of deployment and has saturated throughout the affected environment. They’ve confirmed with their monitoring service that impact is remediated.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to view video streams in town halls from the Microsoft Teams mobile app in any iOS 18 device is impacted.

Root cause: A recent iOS update, when interacting with Microsoft teams, prevents townhall attendees from seeing the video stream.
