Issue Description: Users aren’t receiving emails in Exchange Online that includes a specific URL as they are quarantined.
Final Update: 13/02/2025 08:30:00 AM – After an extended period of monitoring, Microsoft have confirmed impact was remediated.
Scope of impact: Organisation is affected by this event, and users aren’t receiving emails in Exchange Online that includes a specific URL as they are quarantined.
Root cause: A URL was incorrectly flagged as malicious which caused any email message within which it was contained to be quarantined.
Next steps: To help prevent similar impact in the future, Microsoft are further reviewing the underlying cause of the URLs being incorrectly flagged.
