Issue Description: Some users may be unable to use the Whiteboard app in the Microsoft Teams desktop application or web client.

More Info: As a workaround, affected users are able to use screensharing.

Current Update: 22/02/2024 07:40:00 AM Microsoft’s fix is undergoing deployment, and they’re monitoring the telemetry of the affected regions to ensure that the fix implementation is active and unhindered as it continues its deployment. This process is expected to be seen in your organization by Monday, March 11, 2024, and they’ll provide an update as to how the process is developing before that date.

Scope of impact: Your organization is impacted by this event, and some users may be unable to use the Whiteboard app in the Microsoft Teams desktop application or web client.

Root cause: A change is causing the incorrect user data to be passed from Microsoft Teams and leveraged when connecting to a specific endpoint that facilitates the process of opening the Whiteboard app in Microsoft Teams.
