Issue Description: Some users can’t authenticate to some Microsoft 365 services using voice Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
More info: This event could potentially impact any user attempting to authenticate to some Microsoft 365 services using voice MFA. Some example services include but aren”t limited to Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online.
As a workaround, users can choose other authentication methods to complete MFA.
Final Update: 17/01/2024 08:54:00 AM – Microsoft confirmed that their third-party provider performed necessary recovery steps to resolve the underlying issue, and they have confirmed by monitoring internal telemetry that the impact is remediated.
