Issue Description: Microsoft Teams classis users can’t access the Analytics feature tab for channels.

More info: Both the Microsoft Teams desktop client and Microsoft Teams on the web are impacted. While we’re focused on remediation, users may be able to utilize the Analytics feature through the Microsoft Teams 2.0 client.

Final Update: 14/12/2023 09:00:00 AM – Microsoft have completed deployment of the change to enable the affected feature. After a period of testing and monitoring, they confirmed impact was remediated.

Scope of impact: Any Microsoft Teams classic users attempting to utilize the Analytics feature for channels in Microsoft Teams may be impacted.

Root cause: An issue with the initial implementation of the Analytics channel feature resulted in the feature being unexpectedly unavailable within the Microsoft Teams desktop client and Microsoft Teams on the web.

Next steps: To help prevent similar impact in the future, Microsoft are further reviewing the underlying issue that caused the feature to be unavailable.
