Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Admins may be unable to see iOS hardware information in ‘Devices’ section of the Microsoft Intune admin center.

More Info: There is no effect on end users enrolling or using devices, however LA’s may be unable to see the hardware section (Devices, iOS, *select device*, Hardware) while browsing devices. Microsoft are developing a fix and have acknowledged it is taking an extended period of time.

Final Update: 29/12/2023 08:51:00 AM – The deployment of the fix is complete and Microsoft have determined through service telemetry that this issue is resolved.

Scope of impact: Any admin who attempts to view hardware details for iOS devices from the Microsoft Intune admin center may be impacted.

Root Cause: A recent service update to a portion of the Microsoft Intune service infrastructure implemented a new schema to establish if devices are Intune-managed. Microsoft’s device consistency checkers that output hardware insights within the admin center are still referencing the old schema, which is causing a conflict and resulting in impact.
