Issue Description : iOS users may be unable to perform specific Exchange ActiveSync actions within their native iOS apps.

More info : The issue specifically impacts Exchange ActiveSync with certificate-based authentication.

Users may be unable to access email, calendar, contacts, or sync functionality when using their native iOS apps.

Final Update : 09/10/2023 08:39:00 AM – Microsoft’s fix has completed deployment in the affected environment and they have confirmed via telemetry that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact : Users attempting to interact with Exchange ActiveSync through their native iOS apps may be unable to perform specific actions.

Root cause : A recent update to the Exchange ActiveSync authentication component contains misconfigured code changes, causing impact.
