Issue Description : Guest users may be unable to post messages in Teams Channels in Microsoft Teams

Final Update : 29/09/2023 08:33:00 AM – Microsoft confirmed that impact is remediated once Microsoft Teams is restarted to pick up the fixed version.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and guest users attempting to post messages on Teams Channels may be impacted.

Root cause : A recent change made in a portion of Microsoft Teams infrastructure aimed to update message posts in Microsoft Teams channels is resulting in a code issue.

Next steps : To help prevent similar impact in the future, Microsoft are further reviewing the underlying reason the recent change led to impact.
