Issue Description : Users may be unable to see search results when conducting searches from the Graph API against Graph connectors.

Final Update : 11/08/2023 08:30:00 AM – A set of affected users have tested and confirmed that Microsoft’s reversion of the recent update has succeeded in remediating the impact.

Scope of impact : This issue affects any user that’s attempting external searches from the Graph API against Graph connectors.

Root cause : A Microsoft Search service update that was intended to address an unrelated issue has produced a misconfiguration with the Graph API.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing this recent service update to understand why and how it ended up producing a misconfiguration with the Graph API. This will aid us in developing better automated methods in our testing and validation cycles and prevent similar impact from reoccurring.
