Issue Description : Users may be unable to perform the ‘Save As’ operation in Microsoft Power Apps Studio versions 3.23081.12 and 3.23082.8.

More info : Impacted users may receive the error:

“The application already exists and cannot be newly created via the POST operation. Please specify a different name or use PUT to update the existing application.”

As a workaround, users may revert Power Apps Studio to version 3.23075 by following these steps in the below documentation:

Final Update : 21/08/2023 09:02:00 AM – The deployment to address the problem with Microsoft Power Apps Studio version 3.23081.12 has completed, and after testing and monitoring telemetry, Microsoft have confirmed the impact has been remediated for both of the previously affected versions.

Root cause : A recent service update meant to add a specific variable related to regulatory data validation is causing validation failures that inhibit ‘Save As’ operation in Microsoft Power Apps Studio versions 3.23081.12 and 3.23082.8.
