Issue Description : Users may not see updates to the meeting roster from the Outlook client in Microsoft Teams chat.

Final Update : 03/07/2023 13:57:00 PM – After Microsoft’s extended period of service monitoring, they have confirmed that the fix deployment has addressed the roster update failures introduced by the offending service update and remediated the impact.

Scope of impact : Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause : A recent service update, intended to address an unrelated service connectivity issue, is causing meeting updates from the Outlook client to Microsoft Teams chats to fail.

Next steps : Microsoft are further analyzing the offending service update to better understand why impact was produced, and so they can help to identify similar issues during their validation and testing processes.
