Issue Description : Users may experience delays when attempting to create, cancel or modify Microsoft Teams calendar events.

More info : While Microsoft focuses on remediation, affected users may be able to create, cancel or modify calendar events if they retry approximately 15 seconds after the initial failed attempt.

Final Update : 21/06/2023 15:51:00 PM – The remediation action for the unrelated issue is complete and Microsoft’s telemetry indicates that this issue has been remediated as a result and users are no longer experiencing the above mentioned delays.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to create, cancel or modify calendar events may be impacted.

Root cause : A remediation action running in the affected environment, intended to address an
unrelated issue, was consuming resources and creating general latencies within some services
that support cross functionality Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams calendaring.

Next steps : Microsoft are investigating why the remediation efforts for the unrelated issue caused this impact to better understand how to avoid this issue in the future.
