Issue Description : Users may be unable to login to Microsoft 365 services using MFA.
Final Update : 20/06/2023 08:24:00 AM – Microsoft’s monitoring has confirmed that the optimizations have remediated this issue, and requests are now completing as expected.
Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and any user located in North Europe may be unable to login to Microsoft 365 services using MFA.
Root cause : An unexpected high increase in user requests was causing a section of infrastructure, responsible for facilitating MFA sign-in requests, to operate below acceptable performance thresholds and resulting in impact.
Next steps : Microsoft are continuing to review historical service telemetry to better identify similar user request trends and prevent similar issues in the future.
