Issue Description : Users’ Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy approved email messages aren’t being delivered or are encountering delays.

Final Update : 27/06/2023 08:35:00 AM – The deployment of Microsoft’s fix has completed, and the issue is resolved for all users.
Scope of impact : This issue may affect any user attempting to send or receive email messages that require DLP policy approvals.
Root cause : A recent change introduced a regression which caused certain DLP properties to be incorrectly indexed. This resulted in our Event Based Assistants receiving a signal stating something critical is occurring when attempting to access the database to approve requests, resulting in restarts and impact.
Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their update validation procedure to prevent similar indexing issues from being introduced in the future.
