Issue Description : Some users in the United Kingdom may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services.
More Information : Some users in the United Kingdom may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services. Impacted services include, but are not limited to:
– SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business
– Microsoft Teams
– Exchange Online
– Microsoft Defender
Final Update : 09/05/2023 12:00:00 PM – Microsoft have identified that Azure Front Door (AFD) routing within the UK region experienced an issue. Whilst they were reviewing service diagnostics, telemetry indicated that the issue had self-recovered. After a period of extended monitoring, they’ve confirmed that the issue is resolved. They continue to investigate the underlying issue and will provide further details within the Post Incident Report (PIR).
Scope of impact : Impact is specific to some users located in the United Kingdom.
Root cause : An issue with Azure Front Door (AFD) routing within the UK region resulted in impact. They’ll provide more details within the PIR.
Next steps : Microsoft are investigating AFD routing telemetry and recent changes to identify the underlying cause of impact.
