Issue Description : Some users can’t sync local content through the OneDrive for Business sync client desktop version.
More Information : Users can still access their OneDrive account using the web application but may be unable to sync changes to-or-from their local OneDrive desktop client.
Final Update : 05/04/2023 09:20:00 AM – After extended monitoring, Microsoft have confirmed that the client-side configuration setting that was previously disabled has successfully fixed the issue.
Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and some users can’t access the OneDrive for Business sync client from the desktop version.
Root cause : An authorization problem prevented users from syncing content through the OneDrive for Business desktop client.
Next steps : Microsoft are continuing to investigate the underlying cause of the issue to determine whether additional action is required. They’re also continuing to monitor telemetry to ensure that the issue does not recur.
