Issue Description : Admins are unable to add or edit term groups, term sets, or terms in SharePoint Online.

Final Update : 21/02/2023 07:35:00 AM – Microsoft have developed and deployed a fix to the affected environments and validated through internal testing that the impact was remediated.

Scope of impact : Any admin may be unable to add or edit term groups, term sets, or terms in SharePoint Online.

Root cause : An update to the underlining framework of the affected vertical ellipsis feature resulted in the impact.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their update procedures to help identify similar issues with frameworks prior to their implementation.
